Artist's Description
Color, shape, and beauty that uplifts the mood of the viewer is my intention in this series of photographs. I make these photos working with ice forms I have created, found in nature, and sometimes I color enhance the ice I find in nature. This image has a flower that I have frozen with the amazing bubbles that formed around it. Contemporary abstract art is a new direction to add to the many forms of art I enjoy making. I spent many years doing glass blowing, and had a stained glass studio. This continues my love of transparent and semi-transparent art work, by now adding photography into the mix. These images would work wonderfully in commercial settings, restaurants, hotels, spas, and homes. The work on my Color In Ice Series began in January 2014 and is still in process. The watermark will not appear on purchased images.
