This oil painting was done in 2010 while the story of Bernie and Ruth Madoff was unfolding in the news. Many people lost their entire savings, with ripples hitting the economy of places all over the planet. Bernie went to jail, Ruth got off free, one son committed suicide, the other was not held responsible for any part. The whole family was involved. This image is a part of the full painting. The original painting is for sale also, contact me directly for more information on that. It is my hope, that one day this will be placed in a museum, as a historical piece of art. As the global business world has opened up, global robbers have appeared. Bernie and Ruth deserve to sit on that list of global robbers.
