Description
January 27, 2014 brought snow rollers to central Ohio. A rare meteorological phenomenon where snow is windblown to create self forming snow balls that roll and grow, and roll and grow more. The temperature was 7 degrees the morning after they formed. I have seen thousands of them, big and small. This is something I have never seen before. These are in Dublin, Ohio, USA, but know this happened around the state. This photo was taken on day 3 after the formation of these snow rollers, some wind and weather erosion has begun.
